B&B Au Coq En Pate in the picturesque village of Solwaster, nestled deep in the forests near the Ardennes, was a delightful Easter retreat. The warm welcome from the hostess set the tone for our stay, offering a mix of French and English communication that made us feel at ease. The cozy room with a huge bed, coffee and tea facilities, and a thoughtfully stocked bathroom provided a comfortable sanctuary. The highlight was the magnificent breakfast spread, a cornucopia of fresh bread, pastries, fruits, meats, cheeses. The serene location allowed for peaceful relaxation, with the added bonus of nearby attractions like Remouchamps caves and Spa for exploration. The hostess's recommendations for dining and walking routes enriched our short stopover, leaving us eager to return and discover more of the region's beauty.
